Sports Area Manager
to lead our Hampshire team. As a key part of our leadership structure, you'll oversee a team of passionate coaches, help shape the future of PE delivery in local schools, and support the growth of a fast-moving, purpose-driven company.

What You'll Do
As
Area Manager
, you'll split your time between coaching and leadership responsibilities, including:
Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and support a team of coaches across multiple schools
Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding PE, club sessions, and camps
Collaborate with senior managers to maintain high-quality service across your area
Coordinate scheduling, school relationships, and team logistics
Coaching & Delivery
Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Oversee before/after-school clubs and holiday camps
Promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence in every session
School & Parent Engagement
Act as the main point of contact for partner schools and parents in your area
Build lasting relationships that reflect JC Sports' commitment to quality and trust
Promote new services and grow our school partnerships locally
Operations & Development
Handle scheduling, planning, reporting, and administrative tasks efficiently
Take part in CPD opportunities to further your own professional growth
Support safeguarding, quality assurance, and child protection standards
Who We're Looking For
Experienced:
Proven background in sports coaching or PE teaching, ideally in primary education
A Leader:
Strong people skills with the ability to manage, inspire, and organise a team
Passionate:
Deep commitment to children's development through physical activity
Professional:
Organised, reliable, and confident in dealing with schools and parents
Energetic & Motivated:
Excited by the opportunity to grow a region and lead from the front
Required Qualifications
Level 2 NGB Sports Coaching Qualification (Multi-Skills preferred)
Full UK Driving Licence
Enhanced DBS (we can help you obtain one)
Desirable Extras
Sports-based degree or further coaching qualifications
Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to complete)
Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
