About the Role
We're looking for a
Staff Development Manager
to take the lead on growing, mentoring and developing our incredible team of coaches and play leaders. You'll deliver training, provide meaningful feedback, and support our people to be confident, consistent and ambitious in their work.
From onboarding and CPD to observations and progression pathways, you'll play a central role in building a strong and capable team who deliver with pride.
What you'll bring:
A passion for people development and high standards
Coaching or teaching experience in a primary or sports education setting
Strong communication, feedback and mentoring skills
Alignment with our values and a belief in long-term, meaningful growth
Essential:
Full driving licence
Minimum 3 years' experience in sports coaching, education, or workforce development
Level 4 or higher qualification in Sports Coaching or a related field
Experience in mentoring or training others
Desirable:
Full and clean driving licence
4+ years sports coaching experience in relevant settings
Experience supporting apprentices or delivering CPD to sports coaches
