Spray Painter/Decorator

EC Creative Services Ltd. is a well-established set building company based in Chadderton, near Oldham. For over 25 years we have manufactured sets for the TV and film industry in the UK and abroad. The ever increasing focus on British made productions, particularly in Manchester and throughout the North and our outstanding reputation for high quality finishes and excellent punctuality mean that demand for our services is as high as ever. We are looking to add to our full-time core team to meet the current demand.

The following skills, experience and attributes are essential:

Spray Painting 5 years plus

Commercial Painting and Decorating Experience

.Experience of scenic painting

Excellent attention to detail and working to high standards

Able to use own initiative

Good communication skills

Enthusiastic, friendly and a team player

Willingness to work overtime as and when required

Creative flair

The following skills are desirable:

Experience of scenic painting and paint effects including creating wood grain, marbling, ragging, texturing

The Role

Reporting to the team leader you will:

Ensure that work is completed to agreed standards and deadlines

Be responsible for the maintenance of paint and spray equipment

Paint TV scenery and props and painting maintenance of our premises
