We're looking for a strategic thinker who can navigate global regulations while enabling our teams to move fast and scale responsibly.



As a member of APX's BizOps, Expansions, and Compliance Enablement team, the Sr. HR Compliance Specialist works with HR policy, process, and system owners to manage complex policy requirements (including shift and on-call policies), controls, and compliance obligations (e.g., statutory government reporting).




The ideal candidate is motivated by the opportunity to participate in the development of new and leading-edge solutions. The successful candidate is highly organized, builds trusting relationships with internal stakeholders at various levels across the organization, adapts quickly to changing demands, demonstrates critical inquiry, attention to details, and the ability to effectively articulate recommendations/conclusions verbally and written. Knowledge of human resources processes and risk/compliance management concepts, particularly in an international context, are preferred.



The role can be located in London, Bangalore, Berlin, Beijing, Cape Town, Dubai, Dublin, Singapore, Sydney, or Tokyo.



Key job responsibilities

Lead regional statutory compliance programs by implementing scalable reporting mechanisms and establishing clear ownership structures across multiple countries Develop and maintain HR policies that balance legal requirements with operational needs across diverse business models Partner with legal teams and HR stakeholders to interpret employment laws and enable compliant workforce practices Design and implement compliance controls, conduct risk assessments, and manage remediation plans

Start your morning collaborating with teams across EMEA, APJC, and LATAM to ensure our policies meet local regulations o Lead strategic initiatives to automate compliance processes and reporting o Partner with legal teams to translate labor laws into actionable policies o Design and implement scalable compliance frameworks that protect both our people and our business o Mentor team members and build capability across the organization



About the team

The Artificial General Intelligence, Amazon Web Services, Devices and Services, and Ads, IMDb, and grand Challenge (AADA) People Experience (APX) organization works backwards from the voice of the customer to deliver personalized experiences at scale, using technology and simplified processes that match the speed and agility of the businesses we support.



The APX BizOps, Expansions, and Compliance Enablement team manages global expansion projects, including managing global programs that include inventorying, assessing, and monitoring employment-related risks where we do business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field 5+ years of Human Resources experience 3+ years of program or project management experience Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in HR or related field Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking and analysis Ability to work effectively across business lines and varying cultures, while prioritizing effectively and facilitating action across remote groups Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow-through Ability to influence effectively through conveying recommendations and ideas in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications Thrives in an ambiguous environment and able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities
