The Role

We are looking for an experienced

freelance CITB Site Safety Plus (SSP) tutor

to deliver the SMSTS and SSSTS courses.

Delivery will be remote via Zoom & the successful candidate will deliver courses remotely from their own premises.

About You

All applicants must have good communication skills and be able to engage with learners with varied levels of skills, experience and knowledge. Reliability and good planning skills are essential, successful applicants will be an integral part of the team in the delivery of these courses remotely and benefit from the support of an outstanding administration and IQA team.

Applicants must hold at least one of the following health and safety qualifications:

NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health

NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health (or higher) Health and Safety degree NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C and D Diploma Safety Management Level 6.
As well as one of the above above applicants must also hold on the following teaching/ education qualifications:

A formal training qualification, equivalent to a Level 3 Award in education and training (AET) or CITB recognised exemption. (PTLLS) For new trainers, a current certificate at or above the level of course the trainer is delivering must have been achieved. (SMSTS Certification) For renewing trainers, demonstrable CPD records in lieu of a current course certificate.
Applicants must also have at least 1 years construction management experience within the last 5 years.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 250.00 per day
