This role is critical in ensuring our staffing, recruitment, and administrative processes are effectively managed to support our mission.

Position Summary:



The staff employee coordinator will be working closely with management to oversee all aspects of staffing, HR administration, staff onboarding/ offboarding, recruitment, staff performance management, rota planning, and managing staff absences. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of early years education to support and enhance our team's effectiveness and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Staffing and Recruitment:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified early years educators.

Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring.

Coordinate and conduct new staff onboarding to ensure a smooth integration into the team.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance reviews.

Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to staff and managers.

Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor and enhance staff performance.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.

Identify and address performance issues promptly and effectively.

Rota Planning and Staff Absences

Create and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

Monitor staff attendance and manage leave requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications/ Experience



3 Childcare qualification or above

Minimum of 1 years of experience in HR or administration, preferably within the early years or education sector.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
