Job Description

To work towards protecting, maintaining and promoting the health and wellbeing or Trust employees and others working or training on site. To provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care. To deliver care without supervision. To take charge of the service in the absence of Specialist Practitioners, Senior Nurse, Clinical Services Manager.



To take responsibility as the prime carer, delivery of care package, health and wellbeing needs for a group of employees, students To promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate care. To maintain personal development. To work within a team of Occupational health professionals providing a high quality needs based service to host organisation and all contracted clients. The post holder will when required supervise more inexperienced members of staff.



The nature of the job may require the post holder to travel off -site, often with equipment. Unlike ward based roles the OH service does not have a defined capacity such as numbers of beds therefore there is a requirement to be able to respond in a timely and effective manner to sudden increases in activity. A need to maintain confidentiality at all times.
