Duties

Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient needs and developing individualised care plans. Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Perform routine medical procedures as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with medical advancements and nursing practices.

Requirements

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.

Proven experience in medication administration with an understanding of pharmacology principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of patient care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure. A commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical nursing practices.
