DIMENSIONS OF ROLE



Hours:

Five shifts of nine hours rostered between Monday to Sunday, including one hour unpaid lunch on each day worked: making a total of 40 working hours per week.

KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE



To take ownership of the administration and coordination of staffing at Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).

To support the team and relevant Key Stakeholders in the successful delivery of the Staffing function, and to assist with major cricket events, Events & Experiences (E&E), recruitment, training, payroll, uniform, taxi bookings and general office administration when necessary.

The role requires a commitment to staff welfare, financial awareness, and adherence to MCC policies and procedures and current legislation at all times.

KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES



Coordinate end-to-end casual FOH (and BOH as needed) recruitment: CV screening, interviewing, offers. Plan and host recruitment drives, inductions, training sessions, and candidate communications via Smart Recruit. Manage staff schedules, check-in/out, timesheets, bookings, and liaise with payroll for accuracy. Prepare weekly staff feeding timetables and ensure uniforms meet MCC brand standards. Record and maintain staff files, training records, workforce system updates, eligibility checks, referencing, and Casual Worker Agreements. Conduct vein scans, app registrations, and issue access passes in compliance with eligibility and health checks. Monitor staff performance, punctuality, and quality standards, addressing inconsistencies promptly. Support staff logistics, accommodation, parking, taxis and ensure essential staffing supplies are available. Administer casual worker processes during Events, Experiences, and Match Days, including setup and breakdown duties. Resolve scheduling and payroll queries rapidly and authorise timesheets to support timely payroll. Assist Staffing Managers with major Match Day staffing, internal communications, and represent MCC professionally at events. Act as a visible ambassador for MCC, supporting additional duties and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Administrative experience and organisational skills. High standards of personal presentation.
