Staffing Manager
, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our events are delivered to the highest standard. You will lead staffing operations, recruiting, and coordinating event teams across the UK. Working closely with the Operations Event Manager, you'll forecast, recruit, and manage staffing plans that meet both budgetary and operational goals. Job Responsibilities
Forecast and plan staffing needs in collaboration with Event Operations.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for events, including job adverts, interviews, and staff bookings.
Build and maintain a talent pool of casual and regional event staff.
Engage recruitment agencies when needed to meet staffing requirements.
Ensure pre-event, onsite, and post-event communication is clear and effective.
Monitor staff quality, adjust staffing levels to reduce costs, and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
Oversee event-related budgets, including staffing, travel, uniform, and accommodation.
Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards, including training and licensing.
Produce accurate payroll data and performance reporting.
Support, guide, and mentor Staffing Assistants.
Represent the company at career fairs and college/university events.
Coordinate logistics for staff, including transport, uniforms, and food.
Promote sustainability in staffing operations and event delivery.
Job Requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in recruitment or staffing within a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Working Time Regulations.
Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
Competent with MS Office and database systems.
Ability to mentor and motivate team members.
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
