Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our team as a Staircase Designer/Salesperson based near Beverley in East Yorkshire. The position has a basic salary of 25396 per year with a monthly commission relating to sales, giving a realistic earning potential of 30-35k.

Experience in staircase design is not essential as full training will be provided. We are a family-run company and find an enthusiastic attitude towards the role is often the most valuable attribute a potential employee can have. However, experience dealing with customers (face to face, over the phone or via email) and an understanding of construction details, joinery, and CAD software would benefit.

Responsibilities

Use staircase-specific CAD software to draw up designs to specific measurements, advising customers on building regulations, layouts, material, and specification choices. Develop strong relationships with customers, answering questions they may have regarding all aspects of our staircases, from product ranges to design. Price up designs, send quotations and provide confirmation drawings. Understand the construction styles and process of how we make our staircases, along with the limitations of our product ranges, to reduce manufacturing issues at the design stage.
This role would suit somebody with good attention to detail and a hardworking nature.
