We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in repairing equipment and have good electrical knowledge. Knowledge of the stairlift industry is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. As a Stairlift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, responding to breakdowns. Helping out with installations may also from part of this role.
This is a field-based role that requires strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach when working with customers in their homes.

Responsibilities
Work-shop based repairs
Preparation of equipment and warehouse duties
Participate in the on-call rota, covering roughly one week out of every four for emergency breakdowns
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on stairlifts
Diagnose faults and complete breakdown callouts efficiently
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to customers on safe operation
Complete all documentation accurately, including service reports and job sheets
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and industry regulations
Qualifications
Full UK driving licence
Experience repairing equipment and good electrical knowledge
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is preferred but not essential if mechanically minded and willing to train.
