Trent Stairlifts is a growing, local family-run business with a great working environment. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and supplying top-quality stairlifts across Nottinghamshire. We're now looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Stairlift Engineer to join our expanding operations team.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position ideal for someone with stairlift experience (ideally) who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and making a real difference to customers' lives.

You'll be responsible for the installation, service, repair, and removal of straight and curved stairlifts. A company van will be provided for use during working hours with a company phone and uniform will be supplied.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain stairlifts (full training provided) straight & curved Maintain a clean, well-organised and safe working environment Service, remove, repair and maintain stairlifts Accurately complete job sheets and service records Represent the company with professionalism and a positive attitude at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also friendly, reliable, and keen to grow with the business.

Essential

:

Stairlift background preferred although training would be provided to the right candidate Must have experience in electrical/mechanical engineering - at least 1 year Must be based in Nottingham Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Can work independently and part of a team is must Strong communication and customer service skills Willing to learn Must be hands on and physically capable of handling heavy items Maintain accurate records Must be over 21 for insurance purposes and non smoker as it's a non smoking site Self-motivated and confident working independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Full, clean UK driving licence Flexible attitude No unspent criminal convictions

Desirable

:

NVQ, City & Guilds or similar engineering qualification
