Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer preferences Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of kitchen operations Manage food presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Serve meals to guests in a courteous and professional manner Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience in cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Experience in meal preparation and food presentation techniques Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary qualifications are advantageous Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service standards is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.21-18.09 per hour
