Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Steel Erector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading our steelwork operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the unloading, handling, and storage of steelwork materials on-site. Install structural steel frames and components. Operate hand and power tools and other equipment required for steelwork tasks. Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors and project managers. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a construction or steelwork environment is essential. Basic understanding of construction and steelwork processes. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices. Teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to undergo training and development as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Desirable Qualifications:

Current valid CSCS card (Skilled Worker or above) Other valid qualifications (SSSTS, PASMA, IPAF, Etc.)
Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting and carrying of materials. Standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods. Working at heights and in confined spaces.
