As a growing business, we are seeking an individual to assist with the flow of East End Press products from the manufacturing in India, right through to fulfilment from the warehouse shelves.
We are seeking a stock administrator to assist with ensuring the right stock arrives at the right time to the correct location, in the right quantities. This is a detail-oriented role, managing the very specific challenges of entirely handmade production. The ideal applicant will be calm, analytical, and organised.
The role covers:
Ensuring stock accuracy across both UK and US warehouses
Assisting with forecasting and reordering stock based on previous sales data
Managing purchase orders and supplier timelines
Overseeing logistics and incoming deliveries
Producing clear, accurate sales and stock reports
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor stock levels across both UK and US warehouses, keeping inventory systems up to date
Assist with forecasting sales quantities, ensuring supply keeps pace with demand. Review sales data regularly to pre-empt sell-outs and place timely reorders
Help manage multiple shipments various stages of production; from individual samples right through to full containers
Liaise with warehouse teams in both UK and US to ensure smooth receiving of all deliveries
Raise and monitor purchase orders with suppliers. Track production progress and shipping timelines
Work with warehouse teams to flag and resolve issues such as damaged, missing or incorrect stock. Check packing lists, invoices and delivery notes against orders for accuracy. Identify recurring problems and work with the wider team to resolve them
Oversee stock movement before it reaches the warehouse. Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping with suppliers and warehouse teams
Compile monthly sales reports to highlight trends and performance
Use past sales data to inform decisions on reordering and product flow
Skills:
Strong numerical accuracy and confidence with spreadsheets
Analytical, organised, and methodical in approach
Clear communicator, both internally and with suppliers
Comfortable working to timelines, budgets and agreed procedures
Strong at establishing systems that run smoothly and efficiently
