About The Role
As a Stock and Procurement Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stockroom and procurement functions. From ordering materials and managing deliveries to organising project kits and negotiating with suppliers, you'll be central to keeping our projects running smoothly. You'll work closely with engineers and operations teams to ensure the right materials are in the right place--on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the company's stock and store area, ensuring all materials are received, logged, stored, and dispatched accurately.
Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records to support operational planning.
Organise the ordering and preparation of project kits, ensuring materials are available when needed.
Liaise with suppliers to source materials, negotiate pricing, and manage returns efficiently.
Ensure goods are moved safely and on time, coordinating deliveries and managing logistics.
Keep the store clean, safe, and compliant with company protocols.
Support other departments by fulfilling stock-related requests and resolving material issues quickly.
Work with inventory systems and maintain clear documentation for all stock movements.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in stock control or procurement, ideally within fire, security, or electrical sectors.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks.
Good knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
Great communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with teams and suppliers.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling of materials.
A valid UK driving licence.
