Location: South Woodham Ferrers

Hours: Part-Time, 13:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday (with potential to become full-time)

Salary: 12.50 - 14.50 per hour

The Breadbox is seeking a diligent and organised Stock Control and Management Assistant to join our team in South Woodham Ferrers. This role is essential in ensuring our sandwich vans are fully stocked, efficiently managed, and maintain a high-quality visual standard to deliver outstanding service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently during the specified hours. This position has the potential to develop into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately count stock on sandwich vans to ensure correct inventory levels. Replenish vans with required stock quantities based on demand and sales projections. Identify and report any lost or missing items to maintain accurate stock records. Order new products to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages. Ensure the vans' visual appearance meets high-quality standards, including cleanliness and professional branding. Collaborate with the team to streamline stock management processes and adhere to food safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counting and recording. Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet daily deadlines. Ability to work independently during the designated hours. Basic knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and van presentation. Previous experience in stock control or inventory management is desirable but not essential. Flexibility and enthusiasm to potentially transition to a full-time role.
Working Conditions:

The role involves working outdoors with sandwich vans and may require lifting or moving stock. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to a fixed schedule.
