Buttercross Butchers is a growing, family led butchery manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for supplying high quality branded meat products into professional catering kitchens across the country. Our policy for continual growth has proved a need for a star player to join us and take on helping us organising our stock from point of delivery, throughout production to the point of dispatch.

The role is integral to the smooth operation of our daily production and the successful candidate will work principally under the direction of the factory manager with the aim to create autonomy in this new role.

Specifically, the daily duties would within the scope of SALSA food standards include - unloading incoming deliveries, (fork lift training will be given), moving stock into chilled / frozen/ ambient storage, ensuring that stock is moved in a timely manner to the correct area of the butchery for processing, maintaining all stock rotation , maintaining existing coding and traceability systems, order fulfilment, loading our delivery vans and on occasions assisting production staff with general butchery duties.

Days and hours of work are based on 5 days / week 6.00am -4.00pm with an alternate Saturday morning 6.00am-10.30am

Pay: 24,500.00-30,000.00 per year
