to join our new National Distribution Centre's growing Warehouse and Logistics team. Reporting directly to the NDC Deputy Manager and working alongside our Warehouse and RMA teams, you will proactively monitor and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy, identifying, investigating and remedying discrepancies, checking inbound /outbound goods for accuracy and quality control, and provide inventory support to the wider DC operation teams. As these are newly created positions the successful candidates will help to shape the role for the future, providing an opportunity to not just take on a new and exciting role but to play a pivotal part in developing the role, its functions and position within the operation.
Key Responsibilities

Daily cycle checks of SKU's
Discrepancy investigations
Internal transfer monitoring
Customer query response
Quality control
Report writing
Accurate record keeping
Stocktaking
Data entry
Consumable inventory checks and replenishment
Procedural compliance monitoring and management
Skills and Requirements:
Previous inventory control experience in a warehouse environment - advantageous
High level attention to detail
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to work at height
Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
Strong communicator
Good team player and ability to work in a fast-moving dynamic environment
Able to work independently and manage responsibility
Good knowledge of Health & Safety within the workplace
A focused approach to continuous improvement
Creative mindset
Previous scissor lift operating experience advantageous, but full training will be given
