We have an exciting new opportunity for a Stock & Inventory Manager to join the Boughey Logistics team based out of our Wardle site. Responsible for managing end-to-end inventory accuracy, customer stock control, and seamless alignment with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role ensures stock integrity across all warehouse operations, supports customer service excellence, and drives continuous improvement in inventory processes.

Day to Day
Oversee accurate stock control and management of physical inventory and stock returns, ensuring all movements are accurately captured and maintaining in the WMS in real time
Conduct regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and investigations into discrepancies
Ensure correct recording of inbound receipts, outbound dispatches, returns, and stock adjustments
Maintain compliance with logistics standards, including handling, storage, and freight preparation
Manage seasonal or demand-driven stock fluctuations based on customer forecasts and logistics planning
Act as the primary liaison for customer stock requirements, forecasts, and inventory visibility whilst maintaining customer-specific stock rules
Provide customers with accurate and timely inventory reports, availability updates, and exception alerts whilst supporting audits, KPI reviews and contractual stock performance obligations
Work with IT and warehouse operations to resolve system errors, scanning issues, or integration gaps
Support WMS configuration for new customers, product lines, or storage workflows and assist with WMS enhancement projects
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock accuracy and inventory performance reports
Analyse SKU-level data to identify slow movers, shrinkage, risk areas, and improvement opportunities
Support demand planning and logistics forecasting with accurate inventory intelligence
Provide root-cause analysis for stock issues impacting customer service or operational KPIs
Train warehouse staff on inventory procedures, WMS functionality, scanning accuracy, and stock compliance
Participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, 5S, SOP development)
Support audits (internal, customer, ISO, regulatory) related to stock and warehouse processes
What will you bring?
Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain inventory management
WMS & Systems expertise
Excellent understanding of warehouse processes with the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Experience with inventory audits, KPIs, and logistics reporting and knowledge of logistics flow and process
Ability to work in a fast-moving, customer-driven environment
