Job Description

LMA Services is a family owned aerosol manufacturer in Pocklington who are looking to recruit a stock & warehousing supervisor who can work with a procurement manager and other admin staff. This is a hands on busy role which offers someone the chance to grow and progress with the company.

Key responsibilities of role include:

Using the IT/stock system to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date, including adding and amending BOM's for manufactured goods and ensuring stocks are counted regularly and updated.

Issuing picking and blending sheets to other members of staff, and recording the stocks used on the stock system.

Understanding the IT and stock control system, developing improvements and reducing errors when required. Experience with using OrderWise would be advantageous.

Managing the rotation of stock, and it's location to ensure the oldest stock is used first.

Informing admin staff when items will be delivered so that they can update the schedule of planned manufacturing.

This role would also be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse staff have correctly picked goods ready for production, and that it is ready for production in advance of manufacturing. The management of staff in the printing warehouse is also essential including planning and scheduling of labelling and printing.

Experience/Qualifications required:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and a desire to ensure all data is accurate where possible.

Previous experience using a sequence database stock system.

Relevant qualification in a procurement or business course.

Ideally candidates will have an FLT license or have experience using FLTs.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00 or 08:00 to 16:30) working from the office, there is free car parking available on site . After 6 successful months of working for LMA you would be added on to the monthly bonus.

Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to Pocklington before starting work, and must be entitled to work in the UK.
