:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure materials are available for our factory and off-site projects when required and that adequate stock levels are maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or have transferable skills from previous roles.
Duties
:
Good organisational skills required to ensure materials are available for various projects when required.
Deliveries of inward goods to be checked for both quality and quantity. The goods also have to be signed off.
Stock levels are to be maintained at an adequate level.
Booking in / out stock and updating the computerised stock control sheet.
Generation of delivery dockets and generally good record keeping.
Oversee stock and store operations.
Utilise forklift trucks where necessary for materials movement within storage facilities.
SAGE experience beneficial.
Work Hours:
Mon-Thurs - 07:30 - 16:30
Fri - 07:30 - 15:30
Requirements
:
Ability to handle heavy lifting when required and operate forklift trucks safely.
Knowledge of materials handling procedures within warehouse environments.
Organised with exceptional attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Strong communication skills suitable for cross-departmental collaboration. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to optimise inventory processes.
