```Duties```
Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures
To ensure every product in the shop is correctly priced to maximize the profits. This includes liaising with all suppliers and manufacturers on their cost changes.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained
Oversee inventory management, including ordering and restocking products
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets
Directly supervise and coordinate workers' activity. Ensure all store staff complete all required duties within the set timescales.
Train staff and monitor them periodically. Recommending staffing levels to higher management.
Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or complaints
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements
To carry out regular reviews/audits to ensure that business is operating within the company's policies and relevant legislation including health and safety standards.
```Qualifications```
Previous experience in a retail management role preferred- This store has a Post Office- Mains branch, therefore Post Office experience is preferred
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficient in administrative tasks, such as scheduling and record keeping
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets
Multilingual abilities are a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
