Role Summary:

As a Store Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. You'll lead by example, guiding Sales Assistants, ensuring smooth store performance, and upholding Firefly Vintage's high standards of customer service, presentation, and team culture.

About Us



Firefly Vintage began in 2021 on the vibrant market stalls of Bristol, opening our first brick-and-mortar store in Bath in 2023. Since then, we've established ourselves as a must-stop-shop for sustainable fashion lovers throughout the South West, known for high quality, curated vintage clothing and accessories, and all-round good vibes.

Now in an exciting phase of growth, we're expanding into permanent concessions in Birmingham and Liverpool, and launching our own photography studio, online store, and personal styling experiences. This is a chance to join a small, ambitious team at the heart of a fast-growing start-up -- where creativity, energy, and individuality are key. You'll be working closely alongside owners Alice and Chris in a tight-knit, friendly and supportive team.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:



Assist in

daily store operations

, including opening and closing duties such as cashing up and adherence to company procedures. Act as a keyholder, ensuring

security and accountability

during open/close shifts. Provide

leadership and support to sales assistants

, helping maintain energy, productivity, and service standards throughout the day. Oversee

store presentation

, including merchandising, cleanliness, and brand aesthetic. Participate in and help coordinate

stock processing

, pricing, and rotation. Support

customer service

by taking initiative with queries, complaints, and team training where needed. Help facilitate

social media content

, being included in photo and video content for our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook pages Ability to

multitask

and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Contribute to a positive and proactive work environment by

encouraging engagement and initiative

. Be available for occasional

overtime shifts or emergency cover

, especially during peak times or absences. Assist with

performance observations and feedback

for Sales Assistants as directed. Assisting customers with

personal styling

tips at both dedicated events and as a part of day-to-day customer service, at the customers' request Ensuring that store

sales targets

are actively pursued and achieved and promoting the same level of accountability among sales assistants. This includes upselling relevant products to customers as an extension of excellent customer service, and acquiring high-quality leads and bookings for our additional services - including our upcoming Photography Studio and Personal Styling events.

An Ideal Candidate Will Have:



A confident, calm, and positive presence on the shop floor

At least 1 Years' experience

in a retail, hospitality, or customer-facing role (keyholding or supervising preferred) An eye for detail and strong organisational skills Ability to lead by example and motivate others Enthusiasm for vintage clothing and our brand mission of providing high quality sustainable fashion

Pay: 13.34 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week
