motivated Stores Assistant

to join our team.

About the Role

Reporting to the stores manager, working in a team of 5. To assist with the accurate and efficient picking, issuing, and recording of stock items required for production and despatch. The Stores Assistant will play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, supporting packing operations, and upholding high standards of housekeeping within the stores and warehouse areas.

Key Responsibilities

Pick stock accurately and efficiently according to picking lists and work orders. Issue stock to relevant departments in line with production requirements. Update computerised stock control systems to reflect all stock movements. Assist with packing and wrapping of cable products for delivery or storage. Conduct stock checks and report discrepancies to the Stores Manager. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company housekeeping standards. Assist in loading/unloading deliveries when required. Support other departments when required as part of a flexible, team-oriented approach.

About You

Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer literacy and experience with stock control systems Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills A proactive approach to maintaining safety and quality standards

Hours

Monday-Thursday 7:45am - 4:45pm, Friday 7:30am - 1:30pm
