The Vacancy:
Purpose of the role:
To ensure component parts are picked and kitted on time without delay to the Assembly lines
Duties and responsibilities:
Preparing and completing kitting procedures, whilst ensuring work areas are clean and tidy
Inputting and reading data from Infor XA database
Transferring goods safely from Department to Department
Overseeing the receipt of goods into the Main Warehouse and Material Stores Warehouse
To partake in Daily Cycle count process
May be required to work overtime in the event of an annual stock count (Minimum 1 Month notice would be provided)
Picking / Kitting for production and Despatch in a timely manner
Working within other areas of the business when required
Complying with the Company Health and Safety policy, and adhering to all relevant Health and Safety legislation
Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested
XRF Scanning of Material into the Material Warehouse
To load and unload Deliveries using Forklift Truck where required (Training Provided)
Person Specification:
Essential
Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, Grade C or above
Experience:
Previous Warehouse experience
Technical Knowledge:
PC literate, including Microsoft Office
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to work both accurately and quickly, whilst working within clearly defined processes
Hardworking with the ability to stay focused
Attention to detail
Ability to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Good communication skills
