We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Stores person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance to all cleaning equipment including electrical repairs, a knowledge of cleaning equipment operations would be a benefit, signing equipment in and out of stores, controlling day to day operations of the store room. This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Sign equipment in and out of stores
Maintain a well organised store room
Maintain equipment including minor repairs and electrical repairs i.e. plugs/fuses
Pre use inspections of all cleaning equipment
Assist with shipping and receiving deliveries and organising stock
Provide product knowledge to staff, helping them with operating procedures
Responsible for cleaning equipment upon return to stores
Experience
Previous experience in cleaning, cleaning equipment use/maintenance is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for handling equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for stock management.
Experience inventory management systems is a plus.
