Role Overview



This role exists to capture, craft and distribute the ongoing story of Vehicle House and its wider brands. The Storytelling Content Creator is responsible for uncovering, producing and publishing the moments, ideas and stories that define the culture, ambition and humanity of the group.

The role combines creative filmmaking, social strategy and behavioural understanding. It requires someone who can spot a story before it happens, capture it with quality and purpose, and distribute it across multiple platforms to maximise reach and impact. Over time, this position will expand into planning, creating and distributing standard content for external businesses through Bay38, including the management of creative teams and regional content operations.

Key Responsibilities



Story Discovery and Planning



Actively search for stories, ideas and conversations across WWTS, Vehicle House, Clothing House, OpesQ and Bay38. Identify opportunities to turn daily activity into engaging and shareable brand moments. Maintain and manage a content calendar aligned with key campaigns, launches and events.

Filming and Production



Capture high-quality, story-led video and audio using professional equipment. Direct subjects confidently and naturally to bring out genuine moments and conversation. Ensure all content meets brand standards and visual identity. Prepare structured footage and briefing notes for the post production team.

Editing and Collaboration



Produce short-form edits for social media when required. Work closely with the post production team to develop storyboards and narrative structures for long-form content. Organise and maintain footage libraries for efficient re-use and repurposing.

Social Strategy and Distribution



Plan and execute content strategies across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. Repurpose stories into platform-specific versions for different audiences. Write captions, headlines and calls to action that reflect Nathan's tone and the brand's identity. Manage publishing schedules and engage with online communities. Review analytics to assess performance and guide future creative direction.

Behavioural and Analytical Insight



Analyse post performance from both behavioural and transactional perspectives to understand audience motivation. Apply behavioural science to shape tone, pacing and framing for better attention and engagement. Track audience psychology and trend movements across platforms. Continuously refine creative strategy using measurable data.

Creative Development and Leadership Growth



Develop and pitch new storytelling concepts, campaign ideas and content series. Contribute to wider discussions on brand voice, language and strategic messaging. Support the growth of Bay38's external client offering by planning, filming and distributing content for partner businesses. Manage or coordinate creative teams responsible for content capture and delivery in specific sectors or regions. Ensure external client content maintains the same Gold Standard quality as internal work.

Person Specification



Essential



Proven experience in professional filming and editing. Strong understanding of social media platforms, content algorithms and best practice. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into creative strategy. Skilled storyteller with a natural eye for human and brand-led moments. Confident communicator with the ability to direct and operate independently. Well organised, adaptable and highly motivated.

Desirable



Experience in brand storytelling, documentary or social-first production. Familiarity with behavioural science or consumer psychology. Understanding of the automotive or creative industries. Competence with camera systems, lighting and audio tools. Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and LinkedIn Insights.

Example Day



Morning: Capture content across WWTS and other brands, identifying strong stories or moments that could evolve into educational or viral pieces. Midday: Review performance data and study behavioural trends to plan future posts or series. Afternoon: Develop content strategies, write copy, review language and prepare calls to action for upcoming campaigns. End of day: Work with the post production team to review footage and outline edit direction while mapping out next week's filming priorities.

Outcome



The Storytelling Content Creator and Social Strategist ensures that every meaningful moment within WWTS and the wider Vehicle House ecosystem is captured, crafted and distributed with intention. The role bridges creativity and analytics, turning everyday reality into content that builds brand trust, drives engagement and strengthens long-term visibility. As the role grows, it will help Bay38 deliver the same storytelling excellence to external clients, leading teams and creating scalable, high-quality brand media across multiple sectors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,400.00-32,000.00 per year
