As a Strategic Business Change Lead you will set the strategic direction with a business change lens on our most complex and important transformational change programmes and play a key role in ensuring that programmes (change initiatives) meet their objectives of delivering significant and complex changes to operational areas. You will define the requirements for the delivery of the changes to the business areas and ensure that interventions are planned which establish the new ways of working, increase employee adoption and usage, and embed change into the organization.
You will become a trusted advisor to senior leaders and act as a coach to help them fulfil the role of change sponsors. You will also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their teams through transitions.
You will report directly to the Head of Change Enablement and act as a member of the Change Enablement Leadership team, you will support the development of the Business Change capability of the division; being an advocate and role model for the profession, coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues.
This is a people management role. You will be responsible for day to day management of the team and for defining roles and responsibilities. You will develop your team through sharing information effectively, coaching and communicating a clear vision to ensure that your staff are productive, engaged and motivated to deliver the area's aims. This will include setting clear goals and smart stretching objectives that are aligned to those of the team, division and directorate. You will also be responsible for managing all staff-related matters that may arise including performance, absence and sickness.
