Full job description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Street Food Team Members to join our dynamic team. Your responsibilities will encompass taking orders, preparing, cooking and serving customers with our Crepes and Waffles, while maintaining cleanliness in and around the outlet.
If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Full on the job training will be provided, but experience in a similar high energy role would be an advantage.
The dates of the Fringe are as below and applicants must be available for the whole 27 days of the fringe period plus 3 days training prior to that. (full details of training days on application)
Fringe dates are Wednesday 30th July - Monday 25th August
7.5 - 10+ Hour shifts
Night shifts, starting at 7.30pm - late available.
Approx. 5 Shifts per week including weekends
Pay
12.21 (aged 21 and over)
10 (aged 18 to 20)

Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and safety standards.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the street food kitchen and surrounding areas.
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering queries, and upselling menu items effectively.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately and perform basic maths for order processing.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of menu items.
Skills
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to upsell menu items and engage customers positively.
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is advantageous but not essential.
