Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Service Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and preparation. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage in upselling will contribute significantly to the overall dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Manage time effectively to meet service demands during peak hours. Handle transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently. Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Understanding of food safety standards and practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

5 shifts per week and weekend cover is essential.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
