Where you'll be working?





We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.


This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What you'll be doing?



You'll process, submit, and track all necessary Streetworks Permits and Notices (including Section 58/74, temporary traffic orders, etc.) in line with NRSWA, relevant Codes of Practice, and local authority requirements for capital works.



You'll ensure all data within the Streetworks management systems (e.g., Confirm and Street Manager) is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects the status of works.



We'll need you to manage the process for permanent reinstatement management, ensuring works are closed out and relevant guarantees are logged correctly.



You'll proactively monitor and manage the lifecycle of permits to maintain strict noticing compliance, preventing overrun charges and fines.



You'll assist in the investigation and reporting of Costs of Failure (e.g., Fixed Penalty Notices, Section 74 charges) in collaboration with the operations team, identifying root causes to improve future performance.


What you'll bring


+ Do you have experience and a clear understanding of TMA permitting scheme, including the use of Street manager permitting system?
+ Have you got experience in the utility industry?
+ Are you someone who has strong organisational & communication skills?
+ Can you work to strict deadlines under pressure?
