Location: Staines

Contract: Full time, part time and flexible

Responsibilities

As Structures Delivery Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the contracts team, assisting in the day-to-day planning management and delivery of works instructed through condition inspections contract, works will vary from inspection, works programming, planning, sub-contractor co-ordination and delivery / works instructed through Tarmac Kier joint venture boroughs and other Tarmac Kier joint venture contracts.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working closely with Contracts Manager, Programme Manager and Project Engineers to ensure that works / inspections are planned and completed within the determined time frame and within the constraints of the contract
  • Attending internal and external planning update meetings for inspections and ordered maintenance, with date-to-date programme monitoring using information submitted via emails or information from meetings ensuring EWN\xe2\x80\x99s and CE\xe2\x80\x99s are captured
  • Identifying which activities are critical to successful delivery, keeping schemes registers up to date with information issued from client, monitoring key performance indicator\xe2\x80\x99s (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s) relevant to schemes delivery
  • Checking Maximo for task requests / orders from client, looking against annual allocation and report monthly updates
  • Developing design & build delivery programs for acceptance by the client

  • Communicate with a range of stakeholders effectively and show commercial awareness, having managed a portfolio of schemes successfully
  • Demonstrate sound working knowledge in the highways / transportation industry including traffic management
  • Show a detailed understanding of practical health & safety principles
