We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving revenue growth.
We are a provider of accommodation to International Students. We have approximately 150 flats across Central and East London. Most of our occupants are studying for PhDs in leading Central London universities, and quite a few are couples or families with children.
You will be establishing strong establishing strong relationships with prospective tenants and developing new business opportunities. You may have previously worked for a student accommodation provider in a similar role, or you may have transferrable skills from a similar environment. This role has a fixed salary (not commission), there is flexibility on location and working arrangements but you will need to be in central London regularly to carry out viewings and attend meetings.
Responsibilities
Pursue new sales opportunities through effective communication (phone, email and other)
Manage own diary and carry out viewings with potential tenants at our buildings across Central and East London
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Negotiate terms and close sales agreements to meet organisational targets
Collaborate with the CEO and marketing agency to develop strategies that maximise sales potential
Maintain accurate records of lettings sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions using spreadsheets and CRM systems
Attend industry events, meetings with universities, trade shows, and conferences to promote the organisation's offerings and expand professional networks
Requirements
At least three years proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within a relevant industry sector such as student accommodation
Knowledge of the London Student Accommodtion market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own diary
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to drive your own sales from lead to successful move in
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with CRM software is desirable
International language skills would be helpful, especially Spanish, although not essential
