Location: Glasgow Campus or Forres Campus


Salary: Grade 3 24,685 to 27,319 pro rata per annum

Hours: 7 hours per week). Working hours are to be agreed with line manager at appointment.

The Student Support and Development Team is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated student to support institutional efforts to research, consult and promote equality, diversity and inclusion. As a Student Consultant, you will play a crucial role in partnership with GSA's Equality Officer to build upon the Glasgow School of Art's (GSA) existing work to create an inclusive and equitable community. Key responsibilities will include:



Conducting research into the experience of trans and non-binary students
Producing a report with practical recommendations and guidance to strengthen trans and non-binary inclusion

Presenting findings and recommendations to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee


Your contribution will play a vital part in helping the GSA to achieve its National Equality Outcomes and in shaping a more supportive and inclusive environment for students.




The successful candidate will have current experience studying at the Glasgow School of Art; have supported projects/research activities; undertaken desk-based research and consultation work, and have experience of report writing and presenting.



This role is a 0.2 FTE (7 hours per week) fixed term until the (insert date). Working hours are to be agreed with line manager at appointment.
