The Student Lettings Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the rental operations of properties within our portfolio. This position involves managing tenant relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimising the lettings process to achieve maximum occupancy and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a passion for property management, contributing to the overall success of our Student Lettings team.
Duties
Oversee the entire lettings process from property marketing to tenant move-in.
Conduct viewings and provide prospective tenants with detailed information about properties.
Manage tenant applications, including referencing and credit checks.
Liaise with landlords to ensure their properties are maintained and compliant with legal requirements.
Handle tenant queries and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer service.
Maintain accurate records of all lettings activity and update property listings regularly.
Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Skills
Proven administrative experience within a lettings or property management environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Multilingual abilities are advantageous, enhancing communication with a broader range of clients.
Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
