We have an opportunity for a Student Services Officer to join us.

Thank you for your interest in this post. The Hawthorns School opened its doors in January 2023, for autistic children. We are now in our beautiful brand new purpose-built school and are expanding our provision. We need to add to our team of staff who make up a therapeutic, dedicated, tight-knit and supportive team who prioritise the needs of the pupils through an evolving curriculum with the development of social communication at its core.

This is a unique opportunity to join us in providing a holistic education and environment.

Are you organised and efficient with strong administrative skills? knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP Processes? Experience of working directly with pupils in a SEND school? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines? Are you thoughtful, compassionate and reflective and a team player? Do you want to support pupils to engage, learn and achieve? Do you share our ethos of kindness, curiosity, integrity and participation? Do you have bags of energy and are you someone who thinks, watches and listens but also takes initiative? Do you have an interest in, or experience of, working or living with autistic young people?
