Overview

BASED IN REDDITCH UK FULL TIME IN OFFICE
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to oversee daily operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The role will oversee the use of Laser/UV/ heat presses/DTF/embroidery/ oven ( for printing on mugs). These machines are used to print on / and embryoid various clothing items, put logos on mugs using our in-house oven. UV/ Laser specific designs onto bottles/ glassware etc.

The items you will produce are for sports merchandise for various football/rugby/cricket/hockey clubs country wide. Technical knowledge on machines would be a huge benefit as some of the operations are quite skilled. Full training will be given.

Duties

Supervise daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. Train and mentor team members on the proper use of power tools and hand tools, as well as safe lifting techniques for heavy items. Oversee the fabrication and assembly of products, ensuring quality control at every stage of production. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and organised environment. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and productivity within the team. Address any issues or conflicts that arise among team members promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of inventory, production schedules, and employee performance.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or manufacturing setting is essential. Strong using power tools, hand tools, and equipment for fabrication and assembly tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively lead a diverse team. Previous experience in sewing or related textile work is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
