We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with excellent technical knowledge of the residential construction industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player who will manage the repair phase of subsidence claims from start to finish. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with market-leading digital technology and play an integral part in a growing business. The role is hybrid and will require you to undertake necessary site visits.

DETAIL
Contractor Management and Performance
Conduct pre-contract meetings with both contractors and policyholders to ensure all arrangements are in place before work begins.
Work closely with the Contractor Network Manager on all repair and contractor-related aspects.
Undertake health and safety site checks and contractor audits and assist in developing the contractor audit process.
Project Delivery and Technical Oversight
Manage the entire repair phase, from preparing the repair schedule to the completion of works, including all snagging.
Proactively inspect and validate variations, primarily via desktop where possible, to ensure they are properly managed.
Conduct necessary site visits to ensure claims progress to completion without delay.
Work to continually reduce claim cycle times through effective management of the repair phase, working closely with the engineering and claims teams.
Resolve customer complaints that arise during the repair phase
Health and Safety (H&S) and Compliance
Ensure that all parties meet their H&S and CDM (Construction Design and Management) obligations during pre-contract meetings and through the project.
Financial Management and Reporting
The role involves validation or variations, the responsibility for managing costs and ensuring they are suitably managed.
Continuous Improvement and Risk Management
Identify improvements to processes and systems during day-to-day work.
Support the implementation of changes to enhance technical claims management and customer/client experience.
Maintain excellent and proactive communication with all parties, including customers, clients, suppliers and colleagues.
