Duties

Supervise daily operations, ensuring that all staff adhere to company policies and procedures. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Manage kitchen staff, providing training and support to enhance their culinary skills and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to create innovative menus that reflect current trends in the hospitality industry. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Implement effective strategies for team management, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Previous supervisory experience is essential, demonstrating effective team management skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and guiding a diverse team. Experience in serving customers within a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Background in hotel or barista operations is considered a plus. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
