Duties

Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their culinary skills and efficiency. Coordinate with suppliers for inventory management and stock control, ensuring all ingredients meet quality standards. Implement effective team management strategies to foster a positive work environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving to resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service across the establishment.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector, preferably in restaurants or hotels. Strong culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Supervising experience is essential, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience as a barista or in serving roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service is crucial for success in this role.
