Suicide Prevention Lead

Job Description

The Suicide Prevention Lead is a Trust-wide role which co-ordinates and leads Greater Manchester Mental Health's approaches to suicide prevention, at both strategic and clinical levels. A key part of this role is to be responsible for the implementation of the Trust's Suicide prevention strategy and promoting this initiative, reporting to the Medical Director.



The role will act as an ambassador for the Trust to connect with multiple stakeholders in a variety of clinical and corporate settings to support the development of a strategic approach to suicide prevention that encompasses and supports the organisation in a whole system approach. As an ambassador for the Trust, the role will be well connected both locally and nationally to contribute to and learn from research and developments in these areas.
