to run fun and inclusive multi-sport sessions during our summer holiday camps for primary school-aged children.
About the Role:
As a
LaunchPad Sports Camp Leader
, you'll be delivering dynamic and engaging multi-sport activities across a variety of disciplines--ranging from football and basketball to dodgeball, athletics, and team games. Your role is to create an energetic and positive environment that promotes skill-building, confidence, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead engaging multi-sport sessions as part of a structured daily camp timetable
Adapt activities to suit a range of ages and abilities
Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of being active
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive camp atmosphere
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and LaunchPad staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience
What We're Looking For:
Experience leading or coaching children in a sporting or camp environment
A background in PE, coaching, childcare, or youth work (qualifications desirable but not essential)
A positive, energetic, and creative approach to working with children
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (desirable)
Availability during weekdays throughout the summer holidays
