Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer University Student Dispenser to join our team. This role is ideal for university students looking to gain practical experience in a healthcare setting while contributing to patient care. The successful candidate will assist in the pharmacy dispensary, help support the dispensary team ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with established protocols. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Provide support in managing inventory, including restocking supplies and monitoring expiry dates. Engage with patients to provide information about their medications and answer any queries they may have. Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless operations within the pharmacy.

Experience

A background in patient care or as a pharmacy technician would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to providing compassionate care and support to patients.

Working days would be Monday-Thursday, 30 hours per week.
