About the Team:

The Opportunity:
As the Marketing Lead for the Women's team, you will focus on developing and executing engaging events and initiatives tailored to our target fan audiences, ultimately driving attendance and enhancing community connections. This involves crafting a comprehensive season-long marketing plan aimed at fostering growth across the fan engagement funnel, from initial awareness to matchday attendance.
Central to this position is the responsibility for delivering impactful social engagement activities in conjunction with the communications and content team. This includes leveraging core platforms such as Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to support matchdays, highlight player profiles, and tell compelling player stories. The role also encompasses the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of campaign activations during key moments of the season, such as the Fixture Launch, Season Launch, and Women's Football Weekend, ensuring our club remains a vibrant presence in the community.
Additionally, the individual will adopt a data-driven approach to audience understanding, enabling the collection and analysis of insights that drive fan engagement and growth.
What We Ask For:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a recognised marketing qualification or have substantial experience in the marketing field. This foundational knowledge is essential for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies that resonate with our target audiences.
Flexibility is a must, as the role necessitates working evenings and weekends to align with matchdays and other key events. The ability to adapt to a dynamic schedule while maintaining high standards of performance is critical for success in this position. While not mandatory, previous experience in women's sports will be advantageous, providing valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within this area. Furthermore, experience in an elite professional environment will enhance the candidate's ability to navigate the demands of the role effectively.
A desirable asset for applicants is a working knowledge of video production, which can greatly enhance the club's content creation and marketing initiatives. T
