Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our High Care team. Ideally you will have a strong background in food production and understand the manufacturing process from start to finish.
Used to leading a team, you will be acting as an intermediary between the High Care Manager and the production team and ensuring that the team are fully briefed on tasks and responsibilities to ensure that we meet the production schedules.
Be responsible for own work area prior to the start of shift to ensure the area is safe and ready for production to start
Maintain hygiene standards throughout production shift in line with established procedures
Control stock rotation of all materials
Train new and existing staff in task procedures and review and record training activity
Identify areas of performance that may require additional training and take action to implement
H&S awareness, including stopping any unsafe or potentially harmful actions and reporting all H&S concerns
Ensure that PPE is correctly worn by all staff and visitors in your area of work
Ensure process control and traceability checks are completed for internal/external requirements
Ensure all quality paperwork is filled out correctly
Able to carry out all CCP checks in designated department and other areas if required to support
Attend internal audits & handover meetings
Follow production plans
Quality Assurance checking
Food Hygiene certification
