We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production and hospitality. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our team maintains high standards of food safety and quality while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Lead and motivate a team of culinary staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Assist in training new staff members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with service provided.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a culinary or hospitality environment.
Background in food production or culinary arts is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers.
Experience in bartending or beverage service is an advantage but not essential.
A passion for helping others and delivering outstanding customer service is crucial for success in this role.
