CIVILS SUPERVISOR TO WORK ON DUDLEY INTERCHANGE

Knowledge of below ground drainage installation.
Knowledge of civils, including earthworks, backfilling etc.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Understanding of health & safety risks on construction site. Fluent English. Ensures every gang has sufficient resource and skillset to provide the works and provides support to Gangers so that they are properly set up to work efficiently and safely. Good communication skills and working as part of the team, coordinating with the site engineer. Foresees challenges before they arise, supports gangs to find solutions, engages with the management team internally and client when necessary in a positive pro-active way. Ability to escalate issues if they arise. Understand and implement processes in compliance with company policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan safely and effectively plan and manage the works for 2 gangs or more, including self. Prepare and deliver daily activity briefings, work instructions, permits which are of an excellent standard, are clear, concise, accurate. Keeps a daily site diary to record site progress, deliveries, plant etc. Manage the safe system of work and implement control measures to manage safety onsite. Can deliver an excellent level of performance with tasks, understanding design drawings and constructing to a high standard.
