The Stags Head in Dumbarton is looking for a full time Supervisor.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality and food service establishments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and restaurant management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Candidates with prior hotel, culinary, or barista experience will be highly valued.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff in food preparation, serving, and hospitality services.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to across the establishment.
Oversee food production processes, maintaining high-quality standards in line with company policies.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service.
Assist with training new team members and ongoing staff development programmes.
Monitor customer service levels, address any issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain organisation of the kitchen and service areas for efficiency and cleanliness.
Collaborate with management to develop menus, optimise workflows, and implement operational improvements.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
Experience in managing teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or hotels.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred.
Previous roles involving serving customers or barista duties are advantageous.
